Sales Tax Analyst We are looking for a Sales Tax Analyst for our Austin, Texas office. You will be working in a small team responsible for preparation of monthly and quarterly US and Canadian sales and use tax returns. In addition, you will prepare business license applications and renewals as needed. You will also research and resolve customer sales tax disputes. You will also administer and approve customer tax exemption certificates. You may also provide support for sales tax audits and assign and maintain sales tax coding for inventory items. You will also have the opportunity to work with on special projects as requested by management. Ideally, we are looking for minimum 2 years of sales tax experience. This is a junior role and may be a good opportunity for a recent graduate who has taken an internship or worked during college. You must be detail oriented with successful problem-solving and analytical skills. You will utilize your strong communication skills with internal clients throughout the organization. You must be able to take charge of your own projects and work. In addition, you must have strong organizational skills in order to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You should have some knowledge of sales tax software, preferably Taxware, and Oracle is a plus. You must have solid Excel and Word skills as you may prepare reports and other financial data that is necessary.
