Location: Cupertino, California Summary: Key responsibility is to manage data and reporting related to CRM applications including Salesforce.com, Eloqua, and others. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with Global CRM Operations management and our business users to improve data and reporting requests received. This role must have a good understanding of business systems and information technology including devising or modifying reporting to solve problems considering application limitations, operating time, and the desired needs of the user/requestor. Duties include analysis of the user’s business needs, documentation of the requirements, and the translation of the information needs into system requirement specifications – including report development and publishing. Competencies must include the ability to work at a good technical level for most phases of systems analysis and report writing, while representing the corporate goals and priorities. Reporting and Process Analysis - 50% Utilizes knowledge of the business and internal systems to produce and maintain business reporting. Builds relationships within the organization to review processes, discuss impacts and make recommendations for changes. Database Management - 25% Ensures data integrity. Assists in managing the data in the CRM applications, including analysis and mapping of new data, de-duplication of data, and overall reporting integrity.Special Projects and Tasks - 25% Primary Responsibilities: Prepare reports including charts, graphs and dashboards to support the development of strategic recommendations for action plans to management. Maintains and supports existing Salesforce.com dashboards. Responsible for the conversion and migration of existing reports from Excel and static reporting environment to Salesforce.com andor Crystalreports.com dashboards and reports. Manage the tracking and reporting of sales activity (Salesforce.com), productivity metrics and sales statistics against forecasts. Coordinate multi-geographical sales operation improvement projects to ensure strategic goals are met. Manage special projects to identify internal and external trends that may influence and/or predict marketing activity.· Act as the point person of know-how for loading, tracking and reporting marketing campaign results.· Support marketing managers to ensure that campaigns are recorded and tracked. The ideal candidates for this position will have: Strong business and data analysis skills including complex spreadsheets and databases to measure business performance. Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills. Must be very comfortable with analytical tools such as Excel, and business systems such as Salesforce.com. Experience with Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) systems, including configuration and customization. Experience to drive overall integrity and cleanliness of marketing databases. Ensure that there is an organized data structure and processes for storing data in production systems and data warehouses. Comfortable working in a small team where everyone contributes toward meeting promised deliverables or critical business requirements. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across groups. Ability to be flexible and work with various managers on multiple projects or initiatives. Ability to work in dynamic fast paced environment. Skills and Experience Required 2+ years experience with CRM systems, with a minimum of 1 year of Salesforce.com specific experience is a must, crystalreports.com or similar reporting tool experience is a plus. Accurately manipulate and move data to and from a variety of sources across multiple platforms query, sort, merge, combine, and summarize. Posses strong computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills are required Solid knowledge or relevant sales experience of sales and marketing process and experience working with an enterprise sales and marketing organization. Outstanding project management and report building and presenting skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with various internal and external customers Must be organized, detail and process oriented with excellent communication skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers. Ability to think logically in solving assigned problems and to present recommendations with clarity in written and graphic form. Good prioritization, time management, extremely organized, detail oriented and ability to multitask. Compensation is competitive based on experience.
