Salesforce.com /CRM Administrator

Overview

A fast growing SaaS company located in Northern Virginia is seeking a SalesForce.com CRM Administrator.  Our product solutions are used by over 3,000 organizations worldwide and are the solution of choice by 58% of the Fortune 500. We have offices in the US, Europe and Asia, and have won numerous awards for our Software as a Service products.

This position is responsible for work on problems of diverse scope requiring business and technical expertise. The successful candidate must demonstrate good judgment in balancing business needs and CRM best practices. Solid communication skills are required. Taking the initiative to resolve issues and suggest adequate solutions is also required.

The Salesforce Administrator will have effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff; the ability to work productively in a team and the ability to learn new applications quickly is vital.

Responsibilities

 

· Administer salesforce.com application by way of ongoing application maintenance, application reconfiguration and data load on a regular basis.

· Assist with designing of new functionality for the salesforce.com application.

· Develop required reports for sales, professional services, account management, support and executives.

·  Assist with application optimization of the salesforce.com application.

·  Gather and document process flows for sales, marketing, account management and support departments.

· May work as in-house consultant, researching alternate approaches to existing software and hardware when standardized approaches cannot be applied.

· May be required to determine interface solutions for salesforce.com and other internal systems.

· Facilitate user acceptance testing.

· Deliver application end user training.

· Facilitate communication with developers to ensure that customer requirements are translated to design specifications and provide follow-through to production deployment.

Other duties

· Attend training and team meetings as and when required.

· Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and technologies.

· Participate in process improvement.

 Qualifications

 

· Completion of SFDC administration and development training.

· Good people skills, reputation as an informal leader.

· Understanding of project management principles.

· Demonstrate leadership, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence all levels of management.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· The candidate must possess the ability to contribute to multiple on-going critical activities, work in a process oriented environment, manage their progress within tight timeframes, and be able to work independently in addition to contributing as part of a larger team.
