Scientist (Cyber Security) - Sensor Processing and Networking
This is a great opportunity for an experienced research scientist to take on day-to-day technical leadership for cutting edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in the area of cyber security and software trustworthiness. As part of a small elite team of researchers and software developers, you will be responsible for identifying innovative artificial intelligence solutions, system architecture design, implementing prototype solutions, and performing system simulation and analyses.
Minimum requirements include M.S. with a focus on cyber security/software trustworthiness or a B.S. with five years applicable experience. In addition to first-hand experience within the cyber security domain (network monitoring, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc), candidates must possess strong verbal and written skills to support technical proposal writing and business development efforts, including interaction with customers and presentations at technical conferences. Experience with rules engines, Bayesian networks, pattern recognition and data fusion will be considered a strong plus. Familiarity with data mining techniques, ontology development and/or agent frameworks are a plus. Candidates must have demonstrable experience with professional software engineering practices: reading, following, and generating software specs, developing/executing test plans, and following software coding guidelines. Additionally, candidates should have demonstrated capability to work independently and effectively lead within a small team environment.
