Web Designer Responsibilities:

•Designs user interface and visual design solutions from concept through final design specifications (creating sketches, flows, wire frames, implementation review.)

•Creates design solutions that are within the Network standards, and platform requirements

•Idea generation and Design iteration involved in the creation and implementation of network design standards

•Presents and sells designs to product group.

•Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.

Qualifications:

•Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required.

•Excellent design skills; Strong creative, conceptual and problem solving skills and ability to generate design ideas required.

•Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality.

•Previous Microsoft experience as “blue-badge”, “a-“, or “v-“ is a plus

•Extensive knowledge of software tools for design, production and implementation required.

•Must be familiar with industry Web standards and trends. Must be familiar with Microsoft products, product interfaces, and competitors' interfaces. •Experience with Microsoft Silverlight is a definite plus.

•Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.

•4-5 years work related experience required.

•Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area preferred
