Security Assessment & Compliance Consultant -- Houston 

We are seeking an individual with proven consulting experience in performing technical vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and controls reviews for our Fortune 1000 clients.

Candidates must be able to understand the technical requirements necessary to assess and solve business problems related to technology and processes. Strong documentation skills will be required for deliverable creation in all assessment and consulting engagements. In addition, candidates must have a solid foundation in assessment technologies, methodologies and tools. Some experience with audit, compliance and policy assessment is necessary.

Minimum Required Experience and Education: 2+ years of consulting experience performing technical vulnerability and penetration assessments 6+ years of industry experience focused around designing, installing, supporting and/or assessing network and security technologies Strong working knowledge of Linux is preferred Excellent communication skills and professional appearance essential Four-year college degree and consulting background preferred CISSP, GIAC, CISA or similar certification preferred Payment Card Industry (PCI) knowledge a plusProven business writing skills are essential
