You will be working in a lab environment to conduct hands-on evaluations of McAfee and competitive products.   Location: Santa Clara, CA   DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Conduct competitive research.  Master market dynamics and be an expert on companies and products in a market · Author competitive documents that will be used by sales, engineering, product management and Executive teams. For example: competitive analysis, whitepapers, presentations, and news flashes. · Provide suggestions to improve McAfee products · Implement and evaluate various McAfee and competitive products in a lab environment. · Perform product installation and general lab maintenance. · You will be responsible for defining hardware & maintenance needs, configuration specs, and upgrades requirements. · You will be an integral part of the marketing team, providing input and helping with launch of new products.   EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · 2+ years hands on experience with encryption or Data Loss Prevention technologies. · Knowledge of encryption and hashing algorithms or Data Loss Prevention technologies and how they are implemented in typical enterprise customer environments. · Experience in security, cryptography, and/or data storage technologies is preferred · Knowledge of authentication credentials deployment and management (RSA tokens, smart cards, biometrics, etc.) is preferred. · Knowledge of data security market and the major players is a big plus · Prior sales or product marketing experience is a plus   QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: · Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment. · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong technical knowledge and ability to install, maintain and test data security products. · 4 years of college, relevant technical certification(s) or experience is required   Click here to apply for this job http://mcafee.ats.hrsmart.com/cgi-bin/pm/click.cgi?job_id=4159&site_id=35 About McAfee Careers Contact Us Site Map Web Site Feedback Privacy Policy Anti-Piracy Policy Copyright © 2003-2007 McAfee, Inc.
