McAfee’s ToPS suite of product has been ranked visionary in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant an unprecedented 4 years in a row.  As a Competitive Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for researching competitive products and information, and providing input to competitive marketing materials to help field sales compete effectively against other security companies. You will be working closely with several endpoint technologies to conduct hands-on evaluations of McAfee and competitive products. Location: Santa Clara, CA DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Conduct competitive research.  Be able to compare and contrast multiple products in your field of expertise. · Master market dynamics and be an expert on companies and products in a market · Provide suggestions to improve McAfee products · Implement and evaluate various McAfee and competitive products in a lab environment. · Perform product installation and general lab maintenance. · Provide input and help create competitive collateral. · You will be responsible for defining hardware & maintenance needs, configuration specs, and upgrades requirements. · You will be an integral part of the marketing team, providing input and helping with launch of new products.   Requirements EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 4 years hands on experience with endpoint Security environments. This includes McAfee Total Protection for Endpoint, Symantec endpoint Protection, Sophos Endpoint Security, Trend Micro OfficeScan, Panda EnterpriSecure, Microsoft Forefront client security, or CA eTrust.
