The candidate should have the following skills:The candidate must be well-versed in all Federal information security requirements, guidance and standards, NIST information security standards, industry best practices, and DCID 6/3, FISMA, OMB IT security requirements. Familiarity with:• LAN/WAN - routers and switches, strong TCP/IP and network topology• Firewalls (PIX/ASA and Nokia CheckPoint)• Encryption technology, IDS/IPS/HIDS, anti-spyware and anti-malware products• Patch Management software such as WSUS or ZenWorks• STIG, DISA, hardening of networks, systems and workstations• Experience and understanding of Incident Response and Disaster Recovery concepts, activities, and testing process• Working knowledge of at least two of the following products: Metasploit, Nessus, Retina, CORE ImpactStrong experience with administration of Microsoft Servers, Windows Active Directory, and Group Policy is desired. Experience utilizing Group Policy to enforce security is a major plus. The candidate must have demonstrated government or commercial contract experience utilizing state-of-the-art technologies or specialized skills in support of IT system development efforts.Certifications: MCSE, CCNA/P, CEH, CAP are highly desiredGood in writing and conducting testing and documenting results.
