Seeking C# and .NET Programmer

DHC is the largest direct mail skincare company in Japan and is expanding in the United States. DHC USA, Inc. is based in San Francisco and is looking for an ambitious, intelligent person to join the Programming team and be a part of this exciting, dynamic company. We are looking for a C#, .NET Programmer for our Programming department.   This person will be responsible for rewriting business logic and interfaces of DHC’s custom order system from Foxpro to .NET.

 

We are looking for candidates who posses the following:

 

· BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

· At least 3+ years experience in client-server, multi-tier web application development

· At least 5+ years experience in developing complex web applications using Microsoft liS, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VBScript, Javascript, XML, Microsoft SQL Server and best of breed tools & technologies.

· At least 4-5 years experience working at a single company building product(s) from concept to completion across multiple releases and several dot releases

· Ability to develop efficient & well-documented code

· Strong understanding of database design. Working knowledge of the SQL server 2000/2005.

· Experience with XML related technologies and Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs)

· Ability to write design documents, technical functional specifications and communicate effectively with rest of the organization

· Experience with agile development processes in addition to traditional software development methodologies and processes. Experience with the full life cycle of web application development

· Strong attention to detail. Dedication to completing work on time-sensitive projects, strong project management skills a plus.

· Must be able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines. 

·  Must be willing to work onsite, no telecommuting.

· Other tasks as required.
