Senior Agile/Scrum Project Manager

Senior Agile/Scrum PM needed in Glendale, AZ


Deliverables:

This is an implementation project that requires a Senior PM who is fairly technical. The client will be upgrading/converting from one middleware product to another.

PMP certification required.

Agile and/or Scrum experience is required.

Management of software implementation and/or software conversion projects strongly preferred.

PM will take Projects through the PMO Project Process, working with appropriate teams for procurement, project reviews, design, training, testing, installation, and turnover/closedown. PM must follow IT's Project Management Process to ensure all required activities are accomplished and all deliverables are created and approved according to plan. PM will also provide periodic status reports to PMO, Program Leader, and appropriate application teams.

Skills Required:

Quick learner with excellent organizational skills; ability to keep track of dependency and status for many tasks.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be skilled in the following:

Cost estimation, Project Management methodology, Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word.


Required Experience:

PMI certification required.

RAD SCRUM / Agile Methodology required

Experience in leading software conversion and/or implementation projects is required.

We are seeking a project manager who is fairly technical. Must have a good understanding of middleware software in order to lead this upgrade from IBM's WBI to WPS software.

Contract duration ** at least 7 months, may be extended beyond 7 months.

Pay rate: $55-65/hour

Deliverables:

This is a contract position which could turn into a perm employee position with an excellent client in Glendale, AZ. They have several implementation projects that require a Senior PM who is fairly technical.

Pay rate: $60-65/hour

Work location: Glendale, AZ (55th Ave and Bell Road)

Strongly prefer candidates local to the Phoenix metro area.
