Job ID: 471 Senior Business Analyst - Implementation Consultant Looking for a challenge as a business analyst in a large-scale system development environment? As a SunGard Consultant, you will use your business analyst experience to support SunGard COMPASS, a uniquely designed, time-tested software solution for the insurance and financial industry. This integrated software solution deployed on Oracle technology, provides insurance benefit, investment and recordkeeping support for a variety of group and individual lines of business, including: Life and Disability, Pensions, Annuities, Investment and Health. SunGard COMPASS is utilized by some of the largest financial institutions throughout the world, including North America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.Based in our Natick, MA office (close to Rt9 at Speen Street exit), you will assist clients remotely as well travel to client office sites. You will need the flexibility to accommodate your working hours to your client’s time zone office hours. Anticipate a minimum of 25% to 50% travel to client sites. We also have world wide travel opportunities.You will be successful if you quickly master the COMPASS application through in house training program and refine your skill through testing client applications. You will then be assigned clients to analyze their needs, configure COMPASS and be responsible for ensuring the clients requirements are meet. If you desire, you will have the opportunity to take your knowledge and experience with the COMPASS application into system design and architecture, programmer-developer. What you will do:Configuration of COMPASS application to meet client requirementsPresentation of requirements to design team, and working with team in customization processOversee accuracy of design to reflect specificationsAssist in development of test plansProvide Client supportAssist in compilation of Project BudgetOversee client’s account weekly. Position Requirements:Skills and Experience you will need:A minimum of six years business analysis experience in a large-scale system development environment, or Big Six experience a plus. Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Business, FinanceExperience with financial systems, group life and disability, group pensions and/or investment productsRelational databases and technical skills such as SQL, Oracle, Unix, a plus. A dynamic personality and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment which is essential to the position. The capacity to understand, document and translate a Client’s business requirementsability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills are essential for the successful candidate, in addition to outstanding written and verbal communications.
