(AIG), an international insurance and financial services organization, has a Senior Business Analyst position functioning as a Reporting and Data Analyst, available in our Alpharetta, GA location. In this position, you will be responsible for the following: * Writing advanced and complex Oracle SQL to mine our data warehouse * Creating and maintaining Excel Pivot table reports and also working within Crystal Reports, Crystal Xcelsius, Cognos 8 and Microstrategy * Becoming a subject matter expert in the Catastrophe Claim handling process and systems; this position will be responsible for all the required reporting related to Catastrophe events * Being responsible for bringing together disparate data from our systems to build integrated reports * Enhancing and maintaining a new claim volume forecasting model that exists in Microsoft Access What we require: * BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Business Systems or related major * Minimum five (5) years related experience, report analysis, data analysis, information trends and problem resolution as required by the business unit * Advanced skills in Oracle SQL data mining required * Intermediate skills in Excel required * Advanced skills in the following software a plus; Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Crystal Xcelsius, Cognos and Microstrategy * Prior report development and personal lines experience preferred * Must have a high level of analytical ability, verbal and written communication skillsAbout AIG: American International Group, Inc.
