Senior C# .NET Windows Application Developer

We are seeking a talented .NET developer to join a small but growing development team. The company is beginning development on a new product to add their current line, and wants a motivated engineer/developer to serve, in conjunction with a senior web developer, as architect to unify the product infrastructure and provide a strong platform for the future.

Responsibilities:

*Take responsibility for the development of the Windows client applications:  one full-time junior developer and one part-time junior developer will assist you.

*In conjunction with the Senior Web Developer, serve as architect for the Tfamily of products.

*Analyze functional requirements and present/prototype technical solutions.

*Design, develop, and test specific feature sets.  Accurately estimate and prioritize tasks.

*Mentor junior developers.

 

Requirements:

*3-5 years experience to Senior Lead level, designing and implementing n-tier solutions on Microsoft platforms.

*Experience delivering commercial applications utilizing C#, WinForms, and SQL Server.

*Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing SQL Server databases.

*Thorough knowledge of object-oriented design and development methodology and techniques.

*Full command of C# 2.0, including development best practices for security, scalability and maintainability.  Familiarity with VB.NET an advantage.

*Ability and willingness to lead and coach team in best practices and design patterns.

*Self learner. Constantly learning new tools and utilizing them.

*Experience with code generation, object-relational mapping, and data access layer tools an advantage.

* Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, and Agile (any flavor) practices is an advantage. 

* Experience using Microsoft Enterprise Library a plus.

*Strong documentation, excellent English written and oral communication.

*Must be comfortable working in teams as well as running smaller projects on your own. Prefer candidates who have worked in companies focused on commercial products (software development firms).

*Bachelor's Degree Computer Science Preferred
