Senior Client Development Account Manager

Senior Client Development Account Manager

We are currently seeking a talented, organized, and motivated Senior Account Manager to join our team.  This position is located in our Fairfax, Virginia office.

 

Senior Client Development Account Manager

Account Managers are the primary point of contact for education clients. The Account Manager is responsible for the ongoing client relationship, beginning with the implementation of a purchased product. The Account Manager must focus on providing outstanding customer service while keeping an eye on increasing the long-term value from that client.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·  Supervise, train, and mentor a staff of two to three Account Managers

·  Gathering business requirements from new clients

·  Coordinating with technical teams to set up products

·  Conducting client trainings

·  Visiting clients on site

·  Conducting demonstrations of new products and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree required

·  Minimum of 5 plus years’ customer service experience

·  Previous management experience

·  Polished presentation skills

·  Knowledge of the higher education market and/or the software industry a plus

·  Familiarity with the Internet and use of business technologies

 

Personal Characteristics:

·  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

·  Strong organizational and presentation skills

·  Ability to quickly learn new technologies

·  Motivation, drive to succeed
