Senior Contract Relations Representative

BBN has more than 600 employees in offices across the US.BBN is currently seeking a Sr. Contract Relations professional to do the perform work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Contract Relations. The individual will generally be responsible for contracts for a major customer or for a business segment. May be responsible for daily oversight and guidance of more junior staff.Job Accountabilities:Interfaces with clients in establishing BBNT's contractual relationships for the sale of products and services including: Management of cost proposal; Negotiation of terms, conditions, and price; Review of RFPs and contracts for non-standard terms, conditions, or non-standard risks; Management of the review and approval policy; Ensuring compliance with Government rules and regulations; Ensuring compliance with BBNT policies and proceduresWorks on a daily basis with the BBN technical staff to resolve any contractual issues Establishes and maintains close customer contacts Leverages customer relationships and knowledge of the procurement process to secure timely contract awards, extensions, and funding Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree Minimum Experience:5+ years of contracts experience either having involvement in the full range of functions or concentration in a specific areaDoD and/or commercial contracting experience in hardware items, software and software development, systems integration, cost and fixed price contracts, and support servicesActive Top Secret NSA clearance required.
