Job Description:

Ideal candidates will have experience in developing and managing enterprise SQL server implementations that require massive scalability, high availability and sound disaster recovery practices.

Primary Responsibilities and Required SkillsDatabase programming: SQL expert, stored proceduresDatabase tuning: Query Optimization and Index tuningData import/export and transformationRelational database design and developmentSQL Server/Oracle enterprise server managementWorking knowledge of horizontal and vertical partitioningHigh Availability planning and implementation: mirroring, log shipping, merge-replicationDisaster Recovery planning and implementation: full, differential, transaction log backup and restoreMassive Scalability planning and implementation: Database clustering, Federated Database DesignCapacity PlanningOLAP cubes, business intelligence, reportingSQL server analysis servicesReport development

Requirements:7-10 years applicable experience Ability to understand both technical and marketing requirements and effectively communicate those to cross disciplinary teams Bachelor's degree Ability to solve complex issues to achieve objectives and deliver results in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
