Senior Developer/Software Architect

Job Responsibilities/Description:
*  Project and tasks breakdown, planning and prioritization
*  Sprint planning
*  Prototyping and Technology evaluation
*  Architecture, coding and testing
*  Team building and resource planning
*  Hands on technical and coding skills required
*  Hands on experience as a developer followed by significant work as an "architect" or design lead on large scale systems (>10 people, >9 months)
*  Use of latest tools & techniques .NET, c#, Agile (SCRUM), MSMQ, web services
*  Full project life-cycle experience encompassing analysis, design, coding and implementation of large scale OH systems
*  Collaborative approach to design issues, leadership and problem solving
*  The intellectual charisma to engage with colleagues and clients
*  The flexibility to do what needs doing to deliver a system
*  Track record of delighting your clients with your innovative solutions and customer focus
*  Work closely with Sr. Project Management and CTO

Required Skills/Experience:
*  10 yrs of software and product development, preferably w/ software publisher
*  5+ yrs of solid C# experience
*  5+ yrs of ASP.NET (and the .NET 2.0 Framework) experience
*  5+ years of experience developing with SQL Server 2000 (including stored procedures)
*  Strong knowledge of .NET remoting (including HTTP and TCP/IP) and UDP
*  Solid foundation in n-tier, Business Objects, Design Patterns and general OOP
*  Experience with evaluation, ranking and application of products and technologies that are central to successful architectures.
*  Experience with identification, mitigation and management of risks that threaten the success of the project
*  Ability to transition a team from wide space of possible products and technologies to a live solution architecture that meets requirements
*  Ability to be technically agnostic when building systems but with at least two different languages/platforms under your belt at least one of which is either Java J2EE, .NET or Ruby on Rails
*  Relational Database modeling and schema design
*  Strong knowledge (and wisdom) of IIS6 and its internals
*  Experience on sites under heavy loads that require meticulous attention to coding practices as they relate to performance and scalability
*  Agile Development (in practice) with emphasis on architecture modeling, metrics, unit testing and test-driven development
*  Planning, budgeting and risk management
*  Working with distributed/remote teams
*  SOA and business process modeling

Preferred but not Required Experience:
*  Microsoft Pattern and Practice Team's Enterprise Applications Blocks
*  Microsoft Application Center Test
*  Visual Studio 2005 ( including Team Systems)
*  ASP.NET 2.0, ADO.NET 2.0, AJAX (Atlas), and the .NET 2.0 Framework
*  SQL Server 2005 feature set, enhancements and changes that effect developers
*  MS SharePoint Server 2003/2007 and WSS
*  MS Dynamics
*  Document imaging, document management and image processing
*  Working knowledge of .NET 3.0, WWF, WPF and WCF
