Position Title: Senior Embedded Software EngineerResponsibilities: Design, develop, test and integrate embedded system firmware for microcellular wireless communications equipment. Develop architectures, documentation, schedules, etc. related to product development activities. Participate in design reviews, test plan development and product verification activities. Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an embedded software engineer with proficiency in C/C++, networking and RTOS. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience with embedded ARM Microprocessors/Microcontroller SOC devices. Experience with developing low level device drivers. Knowledge of the full software design life cycle. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills: Experience with 802.15.x, 802.11 or other wireless protocols, Experience with TCP/IP networking and routing, including DHCP, SNMP, UDP, sockets, etc. Experience in low-power, battery operated mobile devices. Knowledge of commercial RTOS packages (ThreadX, etc.). Experience with CVS or equivalent configuration management tools. Familiarity with the IAR programming environment.
