Transform your career.The field marketing manager in this position is responsible to partner with the Government sales teams to drive license pipeline (25% of 3X pipeline) and to help the enterprise sales teams move top deals through the sales cycle to closure. This marketing leader will achieve the pipeline goal through a combination of executing national and global marketing campaigns as well as planning and executing account-specific marketing programs for top Government accounts. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, Enterprise Customer Markets. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS * Works day to day with field sales & customers * Develops a deep understanding of the Federal Government and State and Local Government markets and partner ecosystem * Work with the national and global campaign development teams to design national campaigns to address top needs of target market. * Plan and execute account-specific marketing programs to drive pipeline and further relationships between Business Objects and its top strategic customers. * Prioritize campaigns. Manage program mix * Local execution of national and global campaigns. * Manage a $250-$350K annual budget * Define a lead follow up strategy and work closely with sales to coach the teams through effective lead follow-up and pipeline build. * Manage marketing programs in the Business Objects Marketing Resource Management (MRM) environment * Lead file cleansing and importing for a limited number of programs EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * 5-10 years of marketing experience desired * Demonstrated leadership ability * Strong communication skills * Strong planning and organizational skills * Experience building sales and marketing pipeline * Budget management skills; program analysis; project management skills * Past agency relations a plus * Teamwork / collaboration * Ability to partner with sales, listen and advocate for their interests while advocating marketing back to sales * General product knowledge * Government industry knowledge and experience is a plus, but not required * Position is in Washington DC area (McLean, VA) * 4 year degree required * MBA a plus, but not required   Title: Senior Field Marketing Manager - Government Customer Markets, Business ObjectsCompany: SAPLocation: McLean, VA 22102Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Marketing/Product
