Senior Hyperion Reporting Analyst

Job Description: 
 
- Will function as an IT Reporting Systems Analyst within the Corporate Finance and Accounting Group for this multi-billion corporation. 
- Will lead projects and personally responsible for design, development and support of reporting applications to support the corporate finance and accounting group.
- Will design and develop financial forecasting and planning reports using Hyperion and Essbase. 
- Will oversee report and data quality. 
- Will gather report and financial data analysis requirements from Accounting Executives and business users. 
- Will translate functional requirements into systems specification for other team members.
- Will help users extrapolate and interpret financial data.
- Will develop data mining and business intelligence capability for this organization as a long-term initiative.
 
Required Skills: 
 
* Management or administration of Hyperion Systems or similar financial reporting systems.
* Experience with report writing and design.
* Experience with trouble shooting business rules, application and design issues. 
* Experience with systems development life cycle activities.
* Experience with particular business process/function/data that the system supports. 
* Requirements analysis/process flow design. 
* Development of test plans and execution of test cases. 
* Development of system and user documentation.
 
Preferred Skills: 
 
* MBA, Bachelors in Computer Science or Accounting
* Data Mining, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehouse experience a plus.
* Project leadership experience a plus.
