You'll be required to coordinate and personally contribute to all aspects of learning activities while adhering to aggressive timelines. These activities include instructional design, content development, and deployment through various methods.This position requires the successful candidate to demonstrate solid instructional design skills that map to the quality demands of the 21st century adult learner—one who requires a blended approach to delivery, including classroom learning, podcasts, interactive video, just-in-time learning tools, and more. Although learning principles must be adhered to, creativity should be applied to all projects so Apple’s internal sales force and channel partners become engaged in the learning process and willingly participate in it. Prior classroom experience teaching trainers how to deliver training successfully to a variety of global audiences is also required.As part of the development process you'll be expected to work with internal business partners in sales organizations to design learning activities and work with subject matter experts to develop them. You’ll often work with peers to develop portions of complex projects, and work with internal teams to set creative standards for audio and video learning and develop online job aids that map to the learner’s workflow. Your proficiency in delivering training in the classroom and coaching sales employees in workshop settings is necessary. Expect to travel to various locations across the United States and abroad to serve as a training consultant—planning with Apple's business partners and delivering training to global training partners.Sales audiences may include: Apple Premium Resellers and Apple Shop sales associates, Apple Solution Consultants, Apple Direct Sales Account Executives (K-12, HiED, Enterprise, Small Business, Government), Value-added Resellers, Apple Specialists, and HiED Campus Reps. Job requirements:• Experience developing high-quality leader guides and conducting train-the-trainer sessions for a worldwide group of sales trainers • Ability to apply needs assessment processes to determine the effectiveness of proposed training programs for a global sales audience• Experience designing innovative, blended approaches to learning projects (classroom and e-learning)• Ability to create media-based elements to support classroom training activities• Ability to work under aggressive timelines while managing multiple project simultaneously• Knowledge of different consultative sales processes such as those used by Apple's sales groups or prior work training sales audiences• Ability to express personal knowledge of effective learning strategies in terms of positive impact to key business goals• Strong understanding and experience with the Mac platform• Examples of excellent oral and written communication skills• Experience working collaboratively with peers on multi-faceted projects• Availability to travel (approximately twenty-five percent) in the USA and abroad is required Perk #56: New ways to stretch your mind.
