Senior Internet Developer/Architect

North American Membership Group (www.namginc.com), is a 30 year old multi-media company with 12 specialty clubs serving almost 5 million members

 

We are seeking a smart, highly motivated Senior Internet Developer / Architect to develop and expand our online presence. You will design, develop, test and update our web based applications and reporting systems providing customization as needed.

This position offers a fast paced, rapid development environment, with a focus on developing modular and scalable solutions to meet our clients’ current and future needs.  We are a medium sized company, and as such, you will have the opportunity to diversify your IT knowledge and responsibilities as your abilities and interests allow.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS10 years software development/programming experience with Microsoft platform toolsets and excellent knowledge of web-related programming and systems analysis proceduresAt least 7 years hands-on experience in developing internet applications.3 years experience in developing Web Services.Experience in designing and implementing secure web sites using encryption and authentication technologies2 years of working knowledge of Content Management SystemsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic.NET, IIS 6.0 and later, Windows XP 2003 environment, .ASP, HTML,  and JavaScript Strong working knowledge of XML/XSL.Ability to review all aspects of web architecture (hardware, network, software, database, and tools) and provide recommendations & technical expertise to provide a high performing & stable environment.Current with industry trends and able to review and recommend web tools & techniques that support business strategies & technical considerations.Creates functional and technical documentation that developers can code from.Provide mentorship to other developers to strengthen technical skills of the team. Act as liaison between business departments, web developers, and IS technologists.Experience with Flash and/or other video streaming technologies are valuable. Must be customer-service oriented with excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
