infoReliance has an opening for a senior level JAVA/J2EE developer to work 90% at our headquarters and 10% at the client site. This person will work on an already existing team to develop, test and deploy a solution for our DoD military client. The successful candidate will have held technical lead positions in the past and will be well versed in all aspects of structured design and development following a defined development process. The successful candidate will have the requisite skills and knowledge to interact with other team members in defining the solution to be developed. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be able to take the defined requirements and develop an architecture and detailed technical design that meets the functional design and incorporates graphical design and human computer interface elements defined by the GUI design team.



Requirements:

MUST BE A US CITIZEN

1) Desired Technical experience:
• Proficiency in developing in Java/J2EE (5 years required, 8+ desired) and JSF (or Hibernate or Swing or Struts)
• Familiarity with 3-tiered architecture environments (4 years required, 6+ desired)
• Proficiency with AJAX (1 year required), HTML, and Java Script (2 years required)
• Experience with one or more current application servers (2 years required)
• Proficiency in PL/SQL or T-SQL (2 years required; 4+ preferred)

2) Core Consulting Skills:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Experience working directly with customers, including producing technical documentation and conducting technical presentations
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and provide technical team mentorship.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and solve problems of a difficult process or technical nature with strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.

3) System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience:
• Full project life cycle experience (requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, etc.)
• Active involvement in the design, development, and implementation of software systems
• Experience with source control and configuration management
