Senior Java Developer. Contract to Hire

US citizenship is required to obtain a Security experience. DoD experience preferred. Must have a degree.My client is seeking a Senior Java developer with Oracle Database experience Market Rate Required skills/experience: • 7+ years Java programming (advanced or senior level mastery) • Deep understanding of software design concepts, patterns and best-practices • Significant experience leading design and implementation of Java-based applications • RDBMS experience • Oracle Other Desired Skills/Experience: • Web portal development experience • SOA/Web Services development experience (WSDL, SOAP, XML Schema) • ORM experience designing/implementing object mappings (Hibernate preferred) • JSR 186, JSP, Servlets • Java RMI, JUnit, Ant • Proficiency with Apache frameworks (Tomcat, Struts, Velocity) • Experience with Subversion or other version control systems • Experience with gov't systems such as GCCS, DCGS/DIB Please email resumes and questions to glen.hutchins@modisit.com .
