Senior Java/Web Developer

Lonesource is recognized as the leading provider of spend management solutions that consolidate, standardize and simplify corporate spending.  Lonesource provides a hosted, web-based solution for companies to optimize and manage spending to increase profitability and dramatically simplify procure-to-pay processes. 

We are currently seeking an individual with previous web software development experience to support our eProcurement/eCommerce applications.  This developer position will work as a key team member performing a variety of software development activities pertaining to designing and developing new functionality and feature sets.

Position responsibilities:

Team member will participate in the design, development, and ongoing support of a B2B eProcurement web application.

Location:  Cary, NC.



Candidate requirements:

5+ years application development experience using Java and JSP technologies

2+ years working with relational database management systems (Oracle preferred) including database optimization techniques



Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. 

Experience with:

J2EE, MVC Architecture, design patterns, Taglibs, multi-tiered applications and other standard coding practices

User Interface design concepts, OOAD, Web portals, Web tools (J2EE, XML, XHTML, JavaScript, etc.)

SDLC practices and configuration management tools (source control systems, feature/bug tracking, and build systems)



Hands-on experience using open-source technologies including: Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, Log4j, PDF libraries

Must have strong working knowledge of Apache and Tomcat operating in a Linux environment

Prior experience with e-commerce applications is considered a plus

Creative problem solving

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Client focused, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communications
