Job Description:

This employee will be a Senior Manager, supporting all activities of the Integrated Test Facility (ITF).  The successful Candidate will manage a group of 6-10 personnel that are responsible for IV&V for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Security Projects, including all projectware that is built on top of our COTS offerings, development of test plans, test execution, first line support of projectware, QA, CM/DM, and ISO 9001 compliance of the ITF in Huntsville and Reston. The ITF group also maintains numerous software environments that are used for test, product release, production replication of customer sites, and help desk support.

 Qualifications (Education, Experience, Special Skills):

B.S. Degree in Engineering, MIS, CS, related discipline, with 10 or more years of applicable experience.  Familiarity with Oracle SQL and CAD and Security products a plus. Prefer experience in testing software applications, writing test plans and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required with extreme attention to detail. Technical Writing skills a plus. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-centered environment with ability and patience to communicate with customers and co-workers to understand requirements and resolve problems.  Ability to work independently and willing to travel as needed. Candidate must possess effective organizational and analytical abilities. This candidate must be a US Citizen. This candidate must have the ability to interact with and advise clients and co-workers in a positive manner.  Experience in software development, ISO 9000 experience preferred, but not required, or Quality Assurance is a plus.  This is a “hands-on” management position, with the bulk of the employee’s time expected to be in the Integrated Test Facility.
