Avanade Technology Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Developer - Team Lead to join our Central Region Team based out of Milwaukee. The Team Lead will define the functional and technical design as well as lead the coding and testing of software applications to meet business requirements across Microsoft platforms which may vary depending on customer needs and/or initiatives.

 

Job Responsibilities

· Lead and perform the designing, coding and testing of software.

· Lead and perform the maintenance and repair of applications in accordance with technical and functional specifications.

· Lead the creation, execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure than an application or technical environment meets performance requirements.

· Identify and implement configuration changes to packaged software applications so that they meet business process requirements.

· Plan and implement all actions required to deploy the application both technically and functionally.

· Assist with the planning, analysis and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional knowledge and an understanding of the enterprise, business system and industry.

· Define the functional and technical requirements of the application.





Minimum Requirements

 Developers must possess a minimum of 3 - 5 + years in Microsoft.NET design and developmentMinimum of 2+ years of technical lead experience on enterprise initiatives. In depth knowledge in one or more Microsoft application development languages (e.g. C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET 2.0/3.0) is required.  Knowledge of the .NET Framework and experience working in all phases of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is also required.  Ability to understand, design and develop complex multi-layer architectures with strong business layers is critical.Must be able to produce high quality code based deliverables.
