McAfee offers in-depth protection-from the network core, to perimeter defense to complete desktop security.   The company was recently named Best Employer in CMP Media’s Software Development Reader’s Choice Awards along with being chosen the Best Software Company at the CompTIA Breakaway Conference.     DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:      The Senior Comcast Product Manager will work closely with Comcast and represent their needs and interests within the Consumer Products Organization, as well as work closely with Comcast to drive the success of McAfee products and technologies with their customers. He or she will work with Comcast to define, design, and deliver capabilities that align with Comcast’s strategic directions. As a member of the core product management team, the Sr. Comcast Product Manager will be directly responsible for multiple aspects of product definition, detailed product and technology requirements, business planning and launch activities for new major releases of Consumer security products. He/she will work closely with cross functional internal teams (development, marketing, sales, partners etc.), as well as key partners. He/she will be responsible for working with the product management team along with the development team to define and execute product roadmap strategies for Consumer business and products. The Product Manager will work with Sales and Services organizations to maximize revenue generated from the assigned product areas as well as ensure the success of customers.   The key responsibilities for the PM will include: ·  Manage all aspects of the product life cycle (cradle-to-grave) ·  Define competitive product strategy and direction; define and prioritize product requirements, features and functionality; develop product roadmaps and recommend product direction ·  Act as a liaison between Comcast, Sales, and Research and Development ·  Creation of MRD, PRD, Detailed Requirements documents, and business plans ·  Identify new product opportunities and market potential working with key ISPs     EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ·  5 years plus of Product Management experience ·  Knowledge of security software products ·  Experience with consumer oriented products ·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills ·  Ability to drive large, complex issues to closure ·  Work experience with or understanding of ISP markets (particularly Comcast) and players a plus   QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: ·  Bachelors Degree in related area of study; Masters Degree a plus.     Click here to apply for this job http://mcafee.ats.hrsmart.com/cgi-bin/pm/click.cgi?job_id=3874&site_id=35 About McAfee Careers Contact Us Site Map Web Site Feedback Privacy Policy Anti-Piracy Policy Copyright © 2003-2007 McAfee, Inc.
