Senior Product Manager Digital Video for North America

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Product Manager, Digital Video for North America (NA) in our Fremont, California office. We're looking for a Rock Star who possesses a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality to join our team to help develop and market the next generation of exciting and powerful consumer digital media applications. Key responsibilities: * Manage North America Digital Video product lines life cycles from planning to tactical activities. * Work with departments across the organization and across the world, including building close relationships with Product Management counterparts in Taipei to define product release requirements and with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.* Drive specific projects such as NA competitive analysis, pricing and product messaging* Collaborate with colleagues in product management to improve core product marketing, cross-functional product management, product positioning and messaging capabilities * Monitor NA product line revenues; coordinate with international sales and marketing teams on quarterly plans to achieve sales objectives* Maintain continual analysis of market trends and developments* Be the product champion for all products in the Digital Video line* Run product demos for internal and external audiences* Establish full cost of goods and monitor variance with Manufacturing along with supporting the manufacturing team in the management of product inventory* Articulate value proposition & unique selling proposition for relevant target audiences* Project manage product launches, ensuring interlock with stakeholders across the company, including PR, Sales and Channel Marketing, Direct Marketing, Manufacturing, Web and Estore.* Develop product marketing plans to drive new product releases, on-going new customer acquisition and retention.* Coordinate and drive marketing programs to include: email marketing, paid search, online advertising, events, etc. Requirements: * Minimum of 8 years of related experience, and a software or consumer applications background* Demonstrated track record of effective product management experience* Strong ability to translate business objectives into defined marketing tactics and implement them across a broad range of audiences* Experience with a high level of project management responsibility and a proven capacity for rendering mature business decisions in a team-oriented environment* Must be effective at influencing and convincing colleagues into action across functions, in non-hierarchical manner * Must be process-oriented and well organized, and able to identify and implement productivity improvements* Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and keen awareness of how to measure the impact of activities under your responsibilities* Excellent written and verbal communication, and project management skills * Must be a creative, hands-on operator* BA/BS in Business or Engineering; MBA a plusAbout Corel: Corel is a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software with more than 100 million users worldwide.
