Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Learning Products

Due to our tremendous growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive Rosetta Stone’s Enterprise product strategy.  This role, reporting to the VP, Product Management, will define and communicate the unique market and product requirements of our education, government, and corporate language-learning customers interested in successful language-learning results for hundreds or thousands of students, soldiers, or employees. 

 

We are looking for a smart, well-educated product management professional with experience in defining solutions for enterprise markets.  The ideal candidate must be creative and inventive, sensing new opportunities to define breakthrough solutions and services.  The Senior Product Manager needs to be thoughtful and analytical, able to gain the respect of a technical team and guide them in the right direction for future solutions.  If this describes you and you love language learning as much as we do, this job is for you!

 

Responsibilities:Define customer needs and translate into well-documented, prioritized product requirements.Generate high-level business case based on market sizing, projected revenue, and anticipated expenses.Create product roadmap as part of long-term product portfolio. Work with technology to define and implement scalable solutions. Participate in SCRUM meetings with developers.  Conduct and review primary and secondary market research, including usability studies.Regularly meet with account management, sales, and customer advisory panel to validate and communicate planned product enhancements.  Work closely with product marketing organization to define product messaging and identify critical elements for successful product launch.

 

Job Requirements:Minimum five years experience in software product management with B2B online services, corporate learning or educational software product organization required.K-12 education or corporate learning market knowledge highly desired.

·  Proven cross-functional team building skills, superior organizational and time management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·  Strong desire to work in a dynamic high-growth environment.

·  Experience working with developers, UI designers and QA in Agile development methodology preferred.

·  Strong understanding of B2B software applications and licensing required.

·  College degree with focus on technology, marketing, education, and/or classical liberal arts studies, including foreign languages.  MBA preferred.
