Senior Product Marketing Manager

Proofpoint Inc., the leader in email security and data loss prevention located in Sunnyvale, CA, is looking for a Product Marketing Manager. This person will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for driving product, customer and segment marketing initiatives with a core focus on sales enablement. With this position, you are the sales champion within Marketing.

This is a high visibility position that directly impacts the company's revenue.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create sales tools & training programs for the sales force, including Proofpoint channel partners Manage the internal sales portal Track key competitive product and vertical trends including healthcare and financial services Develop core messages and positioning for sales & event presentations Execute product launches and sales promotions Work with other team members on pricing strategy & implementation Conduct presentations for global marketing events Requirements: 5+ years of experience in product marketing B.A/B.S. or equivalent required. Technical background with MBA or equivalent preferred. Proven track record in producing world class sales tools and launching high tech products within highly competitive and fast growing markets Messaging security experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and with a group, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel Ability to work with online web tools and technologies to manage sales content Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
