Job DescriptionAs a member of the game platform strategy and evangelism team, you’ll help shape and deliver messaging around all of our most important new game platform programs on Windows, Xbox 360, and other supported game platforms. You’ll participate in deep engagements with both the internal product teams and early partners as they adopt our platforms. You’ll have visibility across the entire entertainment division, working with thought leaders around the company to demonstrate new scenarios enabled by our next generation game platform capabilities. You’ll help drive industry-changing events such as Gamefest, E3, and GDC, along with broader community efforts to educate and inform developers and gamers. ResponsibilitiesYou will...create critical mass around our key strategic platform initiatives by influencing an entire industry.work with account managers, executives, and product teams to build and refine policy and messaging.create innovative demos that showcase the potential of our current and future platform technologies.travel around the world to conferences, developers, and publishers.support deep engagement activities with early game studios developing to our platforms.research and analyze specific games, technologies, industries, and community feedback.share your findings with people across the organization.participate in the gaming community through blogs, newsletters, videos, and events. QualificationsAn undergraduate or an equivalent degree in business, gaming, engineering, or a related field Five or more years of experience working within the games or game platform industry Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, creating and driving clarity across organizations Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills Infectious enthusiasm for both casual and core game platforms and features A blend of curiosity, creativity, persistence, diplomacy, passion, and optimism Knowledge of gaming trends, industry participants, and leaders Deep analytical skills allowing understanding of complex scenarios involving multiple groups Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects concurrently Ability to develop and maintain strong trust and working relationships internally and externally Constant expansion of working knowledge through news, conferences, discussions, and game play Resourceful and confident under pressure Skill in both crisis management and expectation management Highly collaborative - demonstrated ability to include stakeholders in activities that impact them Must be willing to relocate to Redmond, Washington USA Interested?
