Senior Software Engineer, Core

Responsible for design, development, and integration or testing of new or existing software features. Possesses significant skills and practice in software development, debugging, and testing techniques. Participates in design review and code review activities and provides valuable input.

May assist less senior engineers with technical matters, related to debugging, bug fixing, and unit testing. Requires some direct supervision in executing tasks, but once familiar with the subject, can work independently and efficiently.

Responsible for design, development, modification and integration or testing of new or existing software features. Independently further develops and modifies existing software.

Responsible for day to day process improvement activities.

Quickly learns new technologies and architectural designs. Authors design documentation.

Participates in design review and code review activities.

Presents and proposes technology changes, provides valuable input.

Leads or independently executes small projects.

Design documents on parts of code where there are no such documents.

Provides weekly status reports for his/her leads.

Responsible for day to day process improvement activities.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Education: Masters
Minimum Experience: 4 years direct, related experience in software engineering.
Preferred Experience: 6-8 years direct, related experience in software engineering.
