Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Applications

TZA is the leading provider of solutions in distribution, including warehousing and transportation.  This position in our technology division provides the innovative technology to optimize labor performance in the Supply Chain Logistics.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to be a member of a tight-knit, fast-paced, pragmatic, and highly nimble team responsible for the full SDLC, with projects ranging from defining transaction boundaries and controls to performance tuning and system monitoring; from tackling front-end UI rendering issues to server-side configuration and concurrency requirements.

 

ü  Are you a hands-on developer that understands the intricate dependencies between the application code and external tools/frameworks?

ü  Do you pragmatically pursue the adoption of new tool/frameworks and enjoy integrating them into the existing platform from POC and usage to production rollout and performance monitoring?

ü  Do you have a passion for doing things right, personally pushing for unit testing, performance testing and continuous build processes?

ü  Do you stay on top of performance issues and advocate instrument your own code to proactively monitor system/functional compliance?

ü  Do you find it gratifying when you come up with efficient heuristics?

 

The ideal candidate would have experience beyond mere familiarity with most of the technologies below and can demonstrate the strengths/compromises of the different technology options from personal experience:
