Senior Software Engineer (Windows XP/Vista)

Position Title: Senior Software Engineer (Windows XP/Vista)Responsibilities:Design, develop, test and integrate network management software to control networks of microcellular wireless communications equipment. Take ownership for the development of the network management system back-end components including software architecture, API design and development, and database interfaces. Participate in design reviews, test plan development and product verification activities. Required Skills:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development with proficiency in C/C++, networking, and MS windows. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing, including DHCP, UDP, sockets, etc. Experience with relational database programming, preferably using Microsoft SQL Server. Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio development environment and debugging tools. Knowledge of the full software design life cycle. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills:Experience with CVS or equivalent configuration management tools. VB application development. Familiarity with SNMP, from both an agent and manager perspective. Real-time software development experience.
