Senior Software Engineer for Test - 3795

Responsible for creating and maintaining the unit test infrastructure for the System Software group at Digidesign. The System Software group is responsible for Digidesign’s audio engine, disk engine, drivers, and system software technology. The specific technology areas include real-time data streaming, message based data movement systems such as MIDI, disk based file I/O, and other complex systems programming areas. Work content includes defining test strategy, being the liaison with a global team of engineers for test, writing unit tests, defining plans for best unit test practices, writing design documentation, implementing software, and debugging and maintaining software programs. Essential Requirements:  * 7+ years experience with C++ in large complex code bases   * Including 3+ years experience in writing code for test  * Strong debugging skills  * Ability to understand and work with large code bases  * Multi-threaded real-time systems programming experience  * Windows XP and/or Macintosh OS X platform programming experience Preferred:  * Multimedia and audio experience  * International experience Imagine coming to work every day and being surrounded by some of the most talented and creative people in the industry.
