Senior Software QA Analyst

Data Recognition Corporation, a leading provider of educational assessment test services and a full service survey organization, has an excellent fulltime opportunity for a Senior Software QA Analyst in our Software Quality Assurance department.

 

This position works as part of a project team to implement quality standards across software applications.  This may include providing work direction and training to Associate or SQA Analysts and working on highly complex projects or projects new to the company.

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field; 5+ years experience with quality assurance and testing of software projects; understanding and expertise with QA methodologies; demonstrated experience testing project specific programming languages (COBOL, VB, SAS, etc.) and web based projects on multiple configurations and platforms; experience with defect-tracking and source control systems; knowledge of performance, stress, or load testing practices and tools; highly motivated and strong attention to detail along with the ability to coach, mentor, and provide work direction to others is required.
