Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The successful candidate must be a self starter, efficient, "takeownership" type of person with analytical skills and knowledge toassist in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary responsibility will be to work with executive managementand the IT development staff to develop test plans and use cases,testing processes and procedures to deliver a high-quality product.

Job responsibilities:

• Work with development and executive management to ensure productsmeet and exceed marketing requirements, technical specifications andcustomer expectations

• Modify and own the quality assurance processes and procedures

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and testing methodologies to measure software quality

• Develop test scripts primarily for black-box testing

• Discover, document and verify fixes to software defects

• Automate testing scenarios to increase efficiency

• Work with development, quality control and agent services to reproduce customer-reported issues

Candidate must have:

• At least 4 years of experience

• A college degree (at least 2 years, but a bachelor’s is preferred)

• Experience working in an Internet software environment

• The ability to mentor QA testers

• Experience with load testing

• SQL server experience

• Experience developing test plans

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC)

• The ability to work effectively with developers

• Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with executive management

Preferred skills:

• Experience in Cold Fusion environment

• Experience with Subversion (SVN)
