Senior Software Sales Manager

We currently have an opening for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a focus on business development in the BPM/BI market.

We are seeking an experienced sales leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that can spearhead a new initiative in the North American marketplace.  The position requires in-depth familiarity with business process software, including workflow and document management, portal access, CRM and Business Analytics.

 

To qualify you must have prior experience working on a business development initiative and building a sales team, in addition to proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Key success factors include the ability to excel in the following:

 Strong experience starting up a successful sales model in a software environment, including generating leads, hiring sales staff, current hands-on sales experience, and closing dealsPlan and execute opportunity sales plans, including experience performing complex analyses of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment.Prior successful sales target attainment with deals geared towards the upper mid-market segment ($50+ million in annual revenue)The ability to develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) for driving solutions sales and increasing pipeline

 

Candidates should have 5-7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years of sales management experience: prior experience in new business development is essential in this role. The typical candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Excellent knowledge of MS Office is a pre-requisite, and knowledge of our particular market space is ideal for success in this position. Prior experience hiring/training/motivating/leading a sales force is also required. Superior communication skills are essential, as is prior experience developing and managing a sales staff.
