Senior Software Support Engineer

Title-Senior Software Support Engineer

This is a permanent full time position located in Foxboro, Mass.

Job Description:

Provides superior technical support to our Customers
Drives the resolution of support issues reported to our group by working to define and diagnose issues by applying technical expertise, product knowledge, and communication and problem solving skills
Manages key customer accounts from a support standpoint
Prioritizes issues of varying severity, and effectively manages the resolution of all issues within accepted service levels.
Takes ownership of technical issues and appropriately updates both customer and appropriate employees of status of all issues on a timely basis
Manages resolution of critical technical issues for customers and keeps support system updated with current information on the issue, recommendations and resolutions
Ensures that the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are fulfilled and ensures proper and consistent communication of issue status in accordance with SLA by providing timely updates through proper case management


Job Specifications:

3+ years of technical experience
Excellent customer facing skills
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with Networking (TCP/IP level/ Proxy Servers, Firewalls)
Experience with Internet Technologies
Experience with networking and internet based software systems
Essential Education and Experience:
The successful candidate must have:

3 years minimum experience post-degree
BS/CS required or relevant experience

Proven in-depth troubleshooting experience in:
Weblogic/J2EE
Networking
Databases
Web servers


Candidate Requirements:Excellent customer facing skills
Possess exceptional time management and interpersonal skills
Highly focused on customer satisfaction levels
High level of self-motivation with a strong desire to solve problems and multi-task with priority
Highly versatile troubleshooter (technical problem isolation and resolution)
Ability to learn new technologies
