In this position you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Rosemont, Wakefield and Bellevue office based IT systems. This includes support for all Picis users in house and remote that utilize these systems. You will be responsible for keeping computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs as well as installation of new software releases, system upgrades, patches and resolution of software related problems. You will perform a wide variety of tasks in software/hardware maintenance and operational support of Windows desktop/server systems. You will be required to perform maintenance, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of networking devices including but not limited to switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPN devices. You will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will be required to perform a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment. You will be required to solve complex technical issues in a timely fashion. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. You will operate in accordance with organizational policies and goals. You will ensure that regulatory compliance is met at all times.

You will be required to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following: Performs system backups and recovery. Installs, configures and maintains organization's front and backend operating systems. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server/desktop hardware. Detects, diagnoses, and reports Windows related problems on both Windows server and Windows desktop systems. Configuration, testing and maintenance of site to site tunnels with Picis clients. Maintains and monitors SPAM detection devices. Maintains and monitors corporate Anti-Virus server and clients. Maintains and monitors Windows updates via SUS. Utilizes IT work order system to streamline user support and IT projects. Provides training on all Picis IT systems for all new hires. Schedules and resolves any telephony related issues/adds/drops/moves with in-house vendor. Purchases and receives all hardware/software via the documented purchase order process. Maintains software/hardware asset management system. Assists in creating and maintaining IT policies and procedures. Provides support for configuration of e-mail on PDA devices. Maintains and supports directory level file structure and permissions for file servers, websites and ftp servers. Provides support for VPN remote access and connectivity. Provides IT setup and support for all All Hands Meetings. Provides support for all network printing. Maintains and distributes all loaner laptop equipment. Maintains and monitors all APC Infrastructure PDU units Required ExperienceThe position may require a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Strong communications skills are required. This position reports to the Manager of Information Technologies US.
