Senior Systems/Remedy Developer Administrator -
Location: Mannheim, Germany
Description Remedy Developer and Administrator. Software developer responsible for working independently in all stages of life cycle. As a software administrator, the incumbent is responsible for the operation of a complex Remedy ARS application supporting 24x7 operations throughout the European theater of operations.
Requirements The following experience may be concurrent: three (3) years Remedy system design and implementation; three (3) years software system design and development; three (3) years UNIX or Windows operating systems; two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems. Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics and three years experience; Associates in Arts and seven (7) years experience; and seven (7) year experience; no degree/certification and eleven (11) years experience. Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP) IA Workforce Certification: IAT-II (DoD 8570.01 M) Security+ or higher (must be able to obtain within 6 Months of employment). Candidates must have Secret w/ SSBI clearance level for this position (or ability to attain it within required time lines).
Systems Engineer III
Location: Mannheim, Germany
Description Firewall/Access Control List Analyst incumbent will perform analysis and development required to design, install and configure firewalls and routers to USAREUR AOR. This includes: Maintain a current operational understanding of USAREUR network Topology; analyze current tools and configuration management efforts; add and remove hardware components of system, both external and internal; track IAVA compliance on all pieces of maintained or administered equipment; perform backups and restorals; install software; monitor the network for potential problems; provide trouble shooting as required; provide evaluation and analysis of new software and hardware products; and, test and evaluate new security devices and applications.
Requirements The following experience may be concurrent: Two (2) years experience using and maintaining networks (TCP/IP, Ethernet, FDDI, or NetWare); one (1) year experience with Checkpoint, Sidewinder, PIX, Gauntlet, or Symantec firewalls; one (1) year experience with access control lists (ACL) and router security configurations; two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems. Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering OR Computer Science OR Science OR Business Administration OR Mathematics. A minimum of eleven (11) years of specialized IT experience may substitute for the Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree. One of the following: Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) IA Workforce Certification : IAT-II (DoD 8570.01 M) A+, Network+or higher (must be able to obtain within 6 Months of employment). All candidates must have a minimum of an active US DoD Secret w/ SSBI clearance.
