Senior Technical Account Manager
Senior Technical Account Manager
Seagate Services, a division of Seagate Technology, is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager for its MetaLINCS business unit. This position will establish relationships with account contacts and account Sales Reps.
Imagine Yourself: Maintaining current projects for the account and all account data including environment information Facilitating weekly calls with the account as needed Documenting and tracking progress of all account issues with focus on resolving issues Acting as a liaison between account and Support Management/Sales Making on-site visits for key accounts Carrying a pager or cell phone to support managed accounts Providing training and presentation for the account
What We’re Looking For: Undergraduate degree and more than three years of industry experience or Graduate degree with two years Customer Support-related industry experience in a enterprise software company (preferably in the litigation support industry) Ability to solve problems systematically and effectively, while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction A proven ability to interface with customers (both on the phone and in person) in sales and/or support role Strong technical skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, 2003 (Operating System and Networking) UNIX (Operating System and Scripting) Internet Expertise (including knowledge of browsers, web servers, application servers, proxy servers and firewalls) Database systems ODBC and native drivers SQL TCP/IP and networking concepts Shell scripting HTML Java Some Visual Basic and C++ knowledge with understanding of object oriented programming concepts Experience with litigation support commercial products; Summation, Concordance, etc. Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously while accomplishing desired results Work well with little guidance in a very dynamic atmosphere under demanding circumstances
