1)  A rapidly growing startup in the Bay Area  which provides secure mobile money transfer just closed $29m in funding backed by Redpoint Ventures (MySpace VC). We're looking for a Sr. UI Designer with strong consumer experience:

Description:

The Sr. User Interface Designer plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class mobile-payment products and services for Obopay's direct and partner-branded websites and mobile applications. This position will serve as user-experience lead for assigned projects and is expected to contribute to the overall definition of Obopay's core product design definition. We're seeking self-guided, creative professionals with strong exposure to user-centered design methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Apply user-centered design methodologies to create high-quality interactive experiences that drive consumer engagement, adoption, and usage.

* Internalize user needs by gathering primary and secondary research-market and competitive research, site metrics, voice-of-the-customer, industry trends, and user-experience best practices

* Work closely with the product-development team to synthesize business requirements

* Create information architecture and interaction design documents, including: site maps, concept diagrams, user personas or profiles, user scenarios, wireframes, task flows, site inventory, template guidelines

* Conduct usability testing to validate web and mobile design solutions, and apply research findings accordingly

* Mentor team members and educate the project team on user-experience best practices

Experience Desired:

* 5-7 + years experience designing consumer web-based products or applications

* Applied knowledge of user-centered design principles and interaction-design best practices and standards

* Deep experience working with product-development teams and understanding and translating business requirements

* Ability to ask appropriate questions and persuasively convey design

solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: marketing, product management, business development, engineering, executive management, etc.

* Demonstrated ability to lead design of complex transactional interfaces

* Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative environment

* Demonstrated experience using web-analytics data to inform design decisions and measure design impact of user behavior

* Direct experience with usability testing (E.g., observation and analysis, test-script creation, moderating)

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines

Additional Requirements

* A portfolio of design documentation is required

* Knowledge of Microsoft Visio preferred

* Some financial service experience preferred, but not necessary

* Familiarity with mobile applications is nice to have

 Senior UI Engineer Specializing in Flex 2/Actionscript 3

Summary:

Proven expertise in design and implementation scalable web based user interface platform.  Expert level knowledge in Flex2/Action script 3.

Responsibilities: Design technical specifications for Flash/Flex web sites and RIAs Design and implement Flex based GUI Integrate Flash front-end  with server-side data (e.g., XML, SOAP/Web Services,) Adhere to and contribute to coding standards Participate in peer code reviews and team mentorship Clearly communicate ideas and technical decisions

Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent. 6+ years of experience in UI development & design. Minimum of 2 years experience working with Flash/Flex. Strong foundation in Object Oriented Design skills. Flash/Flex application and component development experience. Flash Remote experience  (desirable.) Experience in building Dashboard application a plus. DHTML experience a plus. J2EE experience a plus. Graphic Design skills a plus.
