We are looking for an experienced, talented, visual designer with strong prototyping skills who is up to the challenge of a broad product line with native, web, and mobile applications. Description & Responsibilities· You will be working with talented, enthusiastic, and focused, cross-functional teams to create innovative, compelling, and eye-catching visual designs for our products.· You will be responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving software component development.· Collaborate with team members to developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations.· Collaborate with team members to produce specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development.· Contribute to efforts setting visual design direction for one or more visual component families/categories (icons, widgets, etc) that affect multiple product family areas· Create icons, UI prototypes, other visual elements with a proven ability to communicate trade-offs and address stakeholder expectations in a proactive and collaborative manner; maintain and communicate graphic project production status; review designs for compliance with corporate visual standards· We have a keen interest in those who can apply creative visual concepts and a consistent visual design language from Oracle's corporate UI standards to native, web, and mobile applications. · You will also gain or futher exercise a broad experience working with other members of the UI team to develop infrastructure and processes to streamline efficiency and quality of throughput. Qualifications Possess B.A., B.S. or MS/MFA degree in design-related field (Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, etc) Must have MS/MFA in graphic design or BA with a minimum of 4 years of visual design experience in the software industry Must have strong demonstratable design skills and an online portfolio available for review Must have strong organization and analytical skills Demonstrate proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time and with a high degree of quality Understand the UCD process, with a working knowledge of UI technology as it relates to visual design and user requirements such as accessibility principles.
