.Net Professionals- We have an immediate need for a Sr. Web Developer that will be part of a highly visible portal for product release activity. The right individual will be able to contribute their skills on a new project and application. You will be asked to use your strong skills in design and development in the .Net Framework and have the opportunity to learn new skills. Primary Responsibilities In this position, the Development Engineer will be an integral team member working on the development of the Presentation Tier utilizing core web, web/WCF services, office components and reporting services. Prepares detailed design specifications, analyzes, codes and tests programs, consistent with standards, suitable for use by other developers for project completion. Codes complete programs or program modifications consistent with department standards. Debug, analyze and fix application problems / issues. Provide project support to Program Managers in regards to timelines, overhead, scope, architecture and direction Provide written documentation on new functionality and code designs. Use issue tracking and source code control tools according to department standards. Participate in design and code reviews. Suggest and implement techniques for software or development process improvements as necessary. Work on regular release cycles closely with QA and support teams to fix issues and deliver in timely fashion. Support existing product releases by providing internal technical support, as necessary. Qualifications 5-8 years software development experience. 4 or more years experience with Microsoft .NET technologies. Specifically C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and Web Services. Intermediate skills in T-SQL and XML Experience with the following data interchange technologies: HTTP, XML, SOAP, & web services Strong foundation in DHTML/Ajax, DOM, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSL and other web-based technologies. Bonus Skills Experience in Expression suite a plus 3 or more years experience with Microsoft SQL Server database design, optimization, maintenance, and implementation; Current experience with MS SQL 2005 a plus. Experience with utilizing Service Oriented Architectures desired. Experience with Silverlight and WCF a plus 2 or more years working on a team utilizing agile software development methodologies is desired.
