Senior Web Software Engineer
We are looking for a senior software engineer who specializes in large ASP and .NET web systems. You are expert with Visual Basic, C/C++, SQL, and XML, and comfortable coding standards-compliant X/HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You are not afraid to tackle any layer of our web applications, from the presentation layer, to the web server, to the database, clear down to low-level IP voice communications protocols. You understand high-capacity server architectures and clustering. You’ve grappled with web application security. You’ve created and tuned serious databases. You’ve shipped commercial software. You write beautiful code.
Our IP-based software crosses many boundaries as we join radios, PCs, phones, gateways, networks, and other devices into a managed communications infrastructure. Our products are used by public safety, defense, and commercial enterprises around the globe, in a vast array of configurations. You will own our web-based configuration system, and will work closely with our system architect, designer, and other members of the development team as our applications evolve.
You are a motivated, self-driven professional who can learn, adapt, and grow into new areas of expertise quickly and with enthusiasm. You are not afraid to accept responsibility for a huge system, or for simple things like timesheets and task scheduling. You get along with other people. You have sample code that wows us.
We are that rare company you’ve been seeking: a software startup with genuine sales, growth, funding, and disruptive products. We’re busy, but we all have lives and we’re not a burnout shop. We hire the best people and treat them well.
