Senior Web Software Engineer & Web Developer

 Summary:   Reunion.com is looking to hire several Senior Web Software Engineers & Web Developers. The ideal candidates will have a strong applied and theoretical understanding of object-oriented programming in an enterprise environment and will have 7+ years of professional experience. Qualified individuals will be comfortable with all aspects of software & web development, produce quality work in each area and advocate quality concerns in each area. In particular, the candidate must have demonstrated ability and experience in using object-oriented techniques to produce correct, extendable, reusable, and efficient solutions. Required Qualifications: Have 8+ years object-oriented programming experience, with at least 5 years concentrated in Java/J2EE development Experience designing and developing J2EE web applications using MVC frameworks. Have worked with JDBC for 3 years. At least 4+ years proficiency and experience with SQL, PL/SQL, large data-sets, queries and schemas  Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading and creating UML models and diagrams Experience using Source Control Systems like CVS or Subversion Experience in development application tools including Eclipse and Ant Experience in both the Struts and Spring frameworks Experience with template languages like Velocity or similar. Have experience with Application Server Configuration particularly for Tomcat Have worked with JUnit or other unit testing technologies Have developed applications within Oracle backend environment Capabilities: Creative problem solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Adaptive to the demands of evolving development and production duties Demonstrated ability in driving high-visibility projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to accurately estimate time requirements for development tasks Ability to generate specific, detailed coding approaches from abstract concepts and information.  Education and/or Experience:Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent field preferred, or relevant and applicable professional experience.See Job Description
