Senior Project Manager Requirements:At least five years of  application development Project Management experience plus previous application development experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst Ample experience and success on many application development projects, strong software and business systems design, analysis, and development skills Project Managers who have functioned as Consultants for dynamic and highly professional consulting firms are preferred, Project Managers who have functioned as Consultants internally for large organizations are fine too, must be sharp and motivated Candidates who live locally are preferred Ability to travel within the United States, approximately 25% of the time, mostly during requirements gathering stages Insurance industry and P&C and/or commercial lines experience is preferred but not required Ample experience in financial analysis, budget estimation/creation/management, financial reporting and delivery Strong with project initiation, requirements gathering and engineering, capital estimation and labor breakdown Excellent at customer service, client interactions, details, managing conflict and resources, problem solving and mentoring Must have budget, matrix team management, and multiple projects experience, the environment is matrixed and Project Managers will be sharing rather than owning resources on teams Project Managers could be working on company acquisitions and integrations into the clients’ systems Strong object-oriented analysis, design and programming skills including UML Framework or methodology experience such as RUP Familiarity of legacy systems and .Net a plus Proficient with Microsoft Suite – Especially MS Project and PowerPoint Bachelors Degrees in Accounting, Finance or Business are preferred
